Travel Conditions and Terms

Scope

These General Terms & Conditions apply to all services offered by Aurea Travel, including day tours, multi-day itineraries, transfers, and travel planning services.

Please note that each tour, experience, or customized itinerary may have specific booking conditions, payment schedules, cancellation policies, or operational requirements.

The conditions published on the individual tour page, booking page, quotation, or travel proposal always prevail over these General Terms in case of any discrepancy.

By confirming a booking, you acknowledge and accept both these General Terms and the specific conditions applicable to your reservation.

Bookings

All reservations are subject to availability.

A booking is considered confirmed only after:

  • receipt of the required deposit or full payment (depending on the product);
  • written confirmation from Aurea Travel.

Customized itineraries are not confirmed until all requested services have been secured.

Customized Itinerary Planning

Preparation of tailor-made itineraries requires significant planning and consultation.

Depending on the complexity of the request, Aurea Travel may apply a non-refundable itinerary planning fee. If applicable, this fee will always be communicated before any work begins.

Prices

Unless otherwise specified:

  • all prices are quoted in Euro (€);
  • VAT is included where applicable;
  • prices are based on costs and taxes valid at the time of quotation.

Quotes are valid only for the period indicated in the proposal.

Payment

Payment conditions vary depending on the type of service.

Day Tours

Unless otherwise stated, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Customized Multi-Day Tours

Payment schedules are specified in each travel proposal or booking page.

Unless otherwise agreed, a deposit is required to confirm the reservation, with the remaining balance payable before departure according to the agreed payment schedule.

Payment Methods

We currently accept:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Bank Transfer (where available)

Any applicable payment processing fees will be clearly indicated before payment.

Changes by the Client

Requests to modify an existing booking are subject to availability and may result in additional costs.

Certain services (hotels, transportation, tickets, guided tours, wineries, etc.) may be non-changeable once confirmed.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation conditions vary according to the booked service.

Please refer to the cancellation policy published on:

  • the tour page;
  • your booking page;
  • your customized travel proposal.

Where supplier-specific conditions apply, these will be clearly communicated before confirmation.

Supplier Terms

Some services included in your itinerary (such as hotels, museums, wineries, train tickets, attractions or local experiences) are operated by third-party suppliers.

Their cancellation, amendment and refund conditions may differ from Aurea Travel’s standard policies and will be communicated whenever applicable.

Travel Documents

Guests are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas, travel insurance and any documents required to enter Italy or other destinations included in the itinerary.

Force Majeure

Aurea Travel cannot be held responsible for cancellations, delays or modifications caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • natural disasters;
  • extreme weather;
  • strikes;
  • government restrictions;
  • transportation disruptions;
  • public health emergencies;
  • war or civil unrest.

Whenever possible, we will make every reasonable effort to assist our guests in finding suitable alternatives.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, personal belongings and travel interruptions.

Liability

Aurea Travel acts as organizer and intermediary for services provided by independent suppliers.

Our liability is limited to the services directly under our control and is subject to applicable Italian law.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Italian law.

Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Italian courts.
